Vaccination Requirements
• Primary Course: After an initial vaccination, a second vaccination must occur within 21
to 92 days.
• First Booster: A primary booster must occur within 7 months of the primary course's
completion.
• Annual Booster: An annual booster must occur within 12 months of the last
vaccination.
If any of these boosters are missed, the horse must recommence with its primary course.
Passports without certification from a veterinarian that any vaccination records in previous
passports were
valid are required to restart the vaccination programme with an initial vaccine and booster.
Competition Requirements
Horses may compete at competitions that start 7 days after their last booster (primary course,
first booster,
or any subsequent booster) and within 6 months plus 21 days of their last booster.
